The session will be led by the region’s lead for KS2 statutory assessment, guiding staff through the latest DFE training and exemplification materials. Code: AAT/19/153 Two Day Training for Designated Senior Leader for Mental Health (Level 3)

The Ofqual-regulated 2 day level 3 qualification in 'Supervising First Aid for Mental Health' will be delivered in conjunction with NUCO and First Aid Awards LTD. (n.b This course does not contribute to your annual monitoring of first aid courses) A range of subjects are covered in detail including how to recognise a range of mental health conditions and information about stress, depression, self harm, suicide, eating disorders, pshychosis, schizophrenia and anxiety.

The qualification is assesed through two written assessment papers and the practical demonstration of completing a first aid action plan for mental health. 

Please note a nomimal charge of £20 per person is applicable, this covers the cost of the trainin manual, accreditation and certificate.
