Supporting EAL Learners in the Classroom (South Yorkshire)
In this one-day session, delegates will consider the key issues around curriculum access for learners who have English as an additional language, including supporting and inducting new arrivals. Evaluating evidence from current research, delegates will explore available strategies to support EAL learners in the classroom, including latest guidance from The Bell Foundation and EAL Nexus
This is a programme set to reignite those early stage teachers who have been teaching for 5 years or more. The course will offer the most current pedagogical practice and enable those attending to reflect on their practice whilst offering challenge and support for those in the classroom every day. It is designed to inspire and allow teachers freedon to take risks in the classroom as they fall back in love with their profession.
Venue will be either South Yorkshire or Cambridge, decided by the location of the majority of participants.
