Venue will be either South Yorkshire or Cambridge, decided by the location of the majority of participants.
The Ofqual-regulated 2 day level 3 qualification in 'Supervising First Aid for Mental Health' will be delivered in conjunction with NUCO and First Aid Awards LTD. (n.b This course does not contribute to your annual monitoring of first aid courses) A range of subjects are covered in detail including how to recognise a range of mental health conditions and information about stress, depression, self harm, suicide, eating disorders, pshychosis, schizophrenia and anxiety.
The qualification is assesed through two written assessment papers and the practical demonstration of completing a first aid action plan for mental health.
Please note a nomimal charge of £20 per person is applicable, this covers the cost of the trainin manual, accreditation and certificate.Essential Information
In 2018/19 there will be increased opportunities for maths CPD with the additional capacity provided through the work of the Regional Maths Lead. Our aim is to provide trust wide events in addition to bespoke training opportunities.
